Thank you for your response, MaryC3. I appreciate it. By default, in outlook.com/hotmail.com, you'll need to open the message and reply to it before you can see the Send button. It's also available if you'll be creating a new email message. Checking the Outlook.com settings, putting the Send button above isn't possible yet.

Thank you.

I have now found if you open the message in the inbox there is a selection to the right above which includes send etc.  But I want the send button included above

Not sure.  I just go into Hotmail.   Address is https://outlook.live.com

It was working fie until yesterday.  Storage is not the problem (I checked) however, I deleted quite a few just in case.   Also I am referring to the buttons above.  Send has disappeared  In junk there is a selection at the top RHS which includes send/reply/forward but not in the place it should be.  New messages have the send selection but nothing in the in box

    Hi Marcy3,

Thank you for participating in the Microsoft Community. I'm Kates, an Outlook.com user and an Independent Advisor. I'm sorry to hear about the missing Send button. Let me see what works for you.

I would appreciate if you can provide me these info so I'll have the bigger picture of the what's happening:

When you say, Send button in the task bar,

Are you using the Microsoft Office Outlook application? or

Are you using the outlook.com webmail using a browser?

    Thank you.
