Adding School/Work Account in PC Settings

When trying to connect work or school account to computer in the PC Settings, have been encountering an error message for two different users from the same organization.

Attempted to solve this problem by deleting one user's profile and creating a new one, but the issue remains.

Despite this error, Microsoft apps are still working correctly. However, it's frustrating because you keep getting asked to log in, and the error keeps coming back.

    Dear Frian Gonzales,

Many thanks for your kind response,

Typically, if you want to keep the auto enrollment option enable, you may need to create a group and add users to that group that you want to allow auto-enrollment. Then, under MDM user scope and MAM user scope, select Some -->click on No group Selected link -->Select the Group that can automatically enroll their device-->Save. In this way, you can include and exclude users to auto-enrollment option.

Thing is, only 2 admins support satellites office so we wanted to keep the auto enrollment option. Is there any workaround aside from disabling MDM/MAM?

    Dear Frian Gonzales,

Thanks for posting in the community.

As per the description you have shared, I understand that you are encountering an error message when trying to connect your work or school account to your computer in the PC Settings. I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you.

Typically, the error code 808180002 indicates that there is a problem with the authentication process which is related to the MDM (Mobile Device Management) and MAM (Mobile Application Management) settings in Microsoft Intune. If you have admin privilege to your organization Microsoft 365 admin center, please kindly go to Microsoft 365 admin center -->Identity (Azure Active Directory) or portal.azure.com sign in to this Azure portal with your admin credential -->Enter Azure Active Directory (AAD) in the search bar and the top and click on it AAD -->In the left menu bar, just scroll down a bit if you don’t see it, Click on MOBILITY (MDM and MAM) -->Click on MICROSOFT INTUNE and ensure the USER SCOPEs are configured to ALL. if yes, set it to None and check if there is any difference.

However, if you are an end user, please kindly contact your organization admin/IT department and change the MDM and MAM settings to None. After that, sign in the account on this device again.
