Same thing started happening to me after a Windows 11 update. I now have to hit Tab+Enter and the password screen comes up. It's just annoying but not earthshattering. I don't know why Windows do these things--IF IN AIN'T BROKE, DON'T FIX IT!!!!
Windows 11 Sign-in (lock) screen does not show sign in form after returning back from screensaver
It does show the sign in form (PIN input) after 15 to 25 seconds of delay.
Do you have any recommendations for the fix?

Hi,
Did you mean that there is a delay between lock screen and login screen?
Did you have the same problem in the Windows10 version?
As far as I know, there is no related known issues has been offered.
https://blogs.windows.com/windows-insider/2021/06/28/announcing-the-first-insider-preview-for-windows-11/If this has recently started to occur, consider using a System Restore point created before this happened, or restoring a disk image you created.
Try booting to Safe Mode. Do you see the same delay? If not, that suggests it's something installed that's responsible. If this problem only occurs in Windows 11, since Windows 11 Insider Previews version now as an early experience, you can use the Feedback Hub app to share your problem and wait for the next update.
Hope above information can help you.

2021-11-30T04:32:36.65+00:00 Well honestly I just uninstalled windows 11 and went back to using windows 10 everything was back perfect for me after that… so if you want to try turn off your computer. Now start tapping f8 fast and don’t stop while doing so power computer on don’t stop tapping f8 until you get to the recovery screen… once there go to troubleshoot then advanced options then uninstall updates then uninstall latest feature and from there let it go thorough the process it will reboot on its own and boom everything thing back to normal
