I am having an odd problem with a single user in my company. She does a lot of presentations in Power point and often links to videos that are stored locally in the same directory as the .ppt file. When clicking on the hyperlink to the videos the following
warning appears:
Opening C:........ file.mv
Some files can contain viruses or otherwise be harmful to your computer.
It is important to be certain that this file is from a trustworthy source.

I know about trusted locations and designated both the directory the .ppt file and the video reside in as a trusted location. I also made My Documents and all sub-folders trusted locations but it does not work. No matter where I put the video it does not
work, even in the default trusted locations (Themes folder).
The user at the time was running Office 2007 so I upgraded her to 2010, but the problem remained. I also tried the registry fix detailed in KB 925757 which did not work in both 2007 and 2010. I have turned off all security related options in the trust
center in Power Point and reset the IE settings to default. Nothing I do seems work. Is there any way to get rid of incessant popup warning?
