Full Screen Reading - Text Size Won't Decrease

I have some guitar tabs that I have formatted to view on two pages. When I went into the Full Screen Reading mode, I had initially increased the text size to test it. Now, even after closing word and opening another document, when I go into full screen reading, the text is a size too big and the Decrease Text Size button is grayed out. Why is this grayed out and how can I fix it?

I appreciate the help and both suggestions sounded very promising, but neither actually worked. However, I did see a button that wasn't there before after deleting the registry entries called "Show Printed Page". After clicking this button, the text was shown as it would be printed. So, that reset the text size to normal and it's all good. Thanks guys!

So, for anyone else trying to solve this problem, you may have to delete the registry entries, but click the "Show Printed Page" button. (The "Decrease Text Size" button is still grayed out though)

Highlight the text and then try to change the text size and if the option is still greyed out.

If the issue persists, Hold the CTRL key and use the scroll on the mouse to resize the text and check if that helps.

If it still doesn’t change the text size, then the template might be corrupt .You need to reset word back to its initial settings and change the page size again. Follow method 1, 2 and 3 in the article below to reset word:-

Neither of those suggestions solves the problem. If I increase the text size, I can decrease it again to where it was when I opened the full screen reading view. However, the text is still initially about a size larger than it is in the regular Word editor so the text that should all be on one line runs into the next line.
