Creating multi-file documents?

I remember Word 2000 (yes, I am that old) had a facility for creating documents spread over several files.  I could use that facility at the moment (I am using MSW07) as I have a document that is becoming unwieldy in the monolithic state.  Trouble is, I can't remember what the process was called so I don't know what to search for.

What was it called?

Does it exist in MSW07?

If you happen to know off-hand, where can I find a tutorial on it?

Thanks

    NancyHsin,

I am going to suggest you start your own thread as your issue has nothing to do with Word.  This way you can get the attention your issue deserves.  (And, while you are waiting, you could try the Repair option to see if that fixes your issue.)

I just accidentally clicked this topic.  All I want to know is how to make my old version Excell 2007 working because the more I ask for helps from Microsoft, the more trouble I got, first trouble, just not working and I had to do some thing and get back,  After I told them about what happened, I was lold that the version is too old with no support.  But after 2nd time asking for help, now Excell software is totally eliminate, no longer could be opened.  Please help to fix this problem.  I keep using the version because it is simple to find options I need to click.

There was a bit left out there. On the Insert tab, in the Text group, click Object, then Text from File.

    Now corrected. Thank you!
