How to import Access database files to SharePoint Access app?

I am trying to move an Access application with 2 database files into a SharePoint Access app. I created the Access app but can't get the database files to be uploaded to it? I want both the Access app and the database files to be located in the SharePoint site so it can be accessed from any external PC  using the browser. After searching can't find any solution to this problem.

    hi stanley,

    after you create the dba database app and double click it (setting gear>site content>find dba database app), can you get the page shows as below?

    if you click open this app in access to start adding tables, can you import these two databases via clicking the access button at the bottom of the applications.

    normally we use this method to import an access desktop database. for the split database, you can check if it works for both two databases.

    if they cannot be imported with this method, you may need to find some other workarounds to share access desktop database (e.g. create an access web app and upload it to a site). to learn more, see ways to share an access desktop database. thanks for your understanding.

    moreover, if it's convenient, could you share with us these two .mdb files for reproducing the steps?

    You have to understand the web apps in O365 are simply browser viewers and far from being online versions of the desktop programs. Browsers can't render Access databases and obviously  Msft has a huge investment at stake so wants to keep it that way.

    Hi Stanley,

    I tested with that two databases and found we can only import the data to the Access Web app, other objects cannot be imported. Based on my test and search, it's not feasible to completely migrate them to Access Web app for using.

    Can we try a workaround like this? Directly upload these two files to personal OneDrive for Business library, and then sync them to local synced folder for using. If it doesn't work, you can check in our Access Developer forum to check if there are other workarounds to access them from any external PC. It's a specific channel that handles further questions about using Access.
