Issue with " Word cannot open file with Normal.dotm error"

Word dialog box continually opens while my computer is on, whether I am using Word or not. Creates these "normal" template files, that need to be saved in order for me to continue using my computer. My IT department and Microsoft subscription support looked at my computer and no one can figure it out.

    It would seem that there must be some rogue application that is invoking Word if you are not doing it.

    I assume that you are the user knau.  Perhaps have your IT people re-create your profile and see if that fixes the issue.
