Microsoft Word - 'Undo edit button not found', 'Insert citation button not found' upon clicking

Hi, today my Microsoft Office package updated on my MacBook Pro. All applications seem to be working fine, except for Microsoft Word. Whenever I click on anything I first get the error message 'Undo edit button not found' and directly after dismissing I get the error message 'Insert citation button not found'. This happened whenever I click on text within the document. Before the update everything was working fine.

I have tried reinstalling the package but the issue still remains. If anyone is able to offer any advice I would be very grateful!

Thanks,

Becky

Hi, I fixed this issue on my mac by uninstalling the Mendeley plug-in and reinstalling it again. You have to do this all in the Mendeley application.

Open Mendeley > Tools > Uninstall MS Word Plug-in

You can then reinstall it the same way, Tools > Install MS Word Plug-in

    I hope this helps

Hi, just to let you know that I have now resolved the problem. The issue was with a Mendeley plug-in which didn't seem to like the update. After uninstalling and re-installing the plug-in all is working fine now.

Hi, I use word 16.9.1 (mac) and am facing the same problem.

In my mendeley, (Un)install MS Word Plug-in is not even displayed in Tools... May I seek any advice? Thank you in advance.
