Vertical Scroll bar not working when using formula

Question

Hello everyone!

Mouse can't scroll up or down when editing cell or using formula in excel 2016.

Anyone know how to do, please advise. Thanks!

Please check:

• What happens when you apply the formula on a new Excel Worksheet?
• What formula you have entered?
• Did you check Freeze/Unfreeze option in MS Excel from "View" menu?

Any formula can't use, my problem is when editing the cells can't scroll up or down using mouse wheel.

Hi,

I have the same problem since 2-3 days. Frustrating.

When trying to edit a cell which has a formula in it or for example when in a cell B100 trying to SUM cells B1-B99, I cannot select these cells as my mouse wheel is not working. This is why I cannot select cells to be summed unless I use a side bar.

Recently I'm facing this problem too, my mouse is not working not just scrolling even though clicking.

But I've found a temporary solution for this. Just press ALT+TAB twice or Click another worksheet of the same workbook. Meaning that for doing it is: refreshing the current worksheet.

Going to another sheet does not help.

Yesterday I closed all of my excel files, opened them again and then my scroll wheel worked. But this "solution" did not help me today.
