    Hi SSECER,

You can re-activate them, see if it makes any difference.

Meanwhile, may I know if you are able to run it without issue in any previous version of Excel 2016 for Mac?

In addition, I cannot reproduce the issue, could you capture a related video so that we can better investigate it? You can use Quicktime for recording. Please send it via PM.

    Thanks,

    Jim

    Hi SSECER,

I checked on multiple versions of Excel 2016 for Mac, from the earliest to the latest insider build.

Unfortunately they all receive the same result as shown in your video:

"Solver encountered an error value in a target or constraint cell."

On Windows, Solver is able to give solution.

The issue should be related to the file contents and maybe due to Solver on non-windows based OS. I can find some simiar feedback on Excel Uservoice site.

    Thanks,

    Jim
