Cannot remove file - Error Code 6009

Question

Hello!

I'm using OneDrive in Office 365 (cloud only, nothing on desktop) on my Mac & I'm unable to delete a file. I have all the permissions and I'm the file owner, but I get an error when I try to delete the file or the folder it's in. The errors are:

Hi, I'm sorry to hear that you're having difficulties.

Could you try and open Word
Open the document ...ochurefinal.docx
Close Word
Wait a bit and retry the delete

Yes, I closed all MS/Office apps, signed out of Microsoft & restarted my laptop — still unable to delete the file.

I downloaded this file & tried to open it, but it is corrupt and will not open!
