Hi.

I need help with my personal project. I am trying to pull data from the following website into an excel spreadsheet:

https://www.whoscored.com/Players/107941/Show/Michael-Keane

The data that I need is in the "Latest matches" table. All I need actually is the last three rows of data, more specifically what is in the "played" and "rating" columns. Excel web query doesn't recognize div tables. Can you please help me figure out a way. Also in this table every few days there is going to be a new row added when the player is in action. I want to make this process automatic and always I am going to need only the last three rows of data.

Any ideas?

    Hi reszler!

I'm Jen, an independent advisor and a Microsoft user like you. I'd be happy to help you out with this issue.

Here's an article that provides a macro as well as a training video that may help you how to scrape data automatically from Websites into Excel.

    https://www.exceltrainingvideos.com/scrape-data...

Note: This is a non-Microsoft website. The page appears to be providing accurate, safe information. Watch out for ads on the site that may advertise products frequently classified as a PUP (Potentially Unwanted Products). Thoroughly research any product advertised on the site before you decide to download and install it.

I hope this information helps. If you have any questions, please let me know and I'd be glad to assist you further.

    Best Regards!

    Jen :)

    Hi

There are plenty of other websites with that information. So do not limit yourself to that one

    https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/michael-keane/leistungsdaten/spieler/118534/saison/2020/plus/1#GB1

Using POWER QUERY you could extract and manipulate the data you want

I extracted this data from the above site

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately I am not a pro. I thought Excel was able to pull data from the website that I mentioned without any coding.

    Hi.

I am aware of the website you are using. Unfortunately it doesn't have all the data that I need. The rating of the player is very important to me.
