Hello,

Could someone please help me with how to reproduce a Drop Down Sort Column like the one shown.

I imported this spreadsheet but would like to reproduce the drop down sort columns as show for a new spreadsheet.

For example, if I click on the down arrow (carrot) for the Sector tab, I see this image.  How can I create the Sort Tab like "Sector" and then the filter shown here?

    I'm afraid I don't understand.

And why is there an empty row between the headers and the data?

    Hi,

I got the result that I wanted by doing an Insert Table for my Sector Column which give me that sort and filter drop down menu that I'm looking for.

Now it's just a formatting question.

For some reason, I can't seem to change the Tab Header "Sector" that is greyed out to Black like the other headers like Mkt Value, % Diff and Buy/Sell.

    Any idea how?

    Hi,

Regarding to your concern, we did the simple test in Excel 16.47.1 for Mac, the Sector is not grey:

Therefore, to better understand your scenario, could you please upload a sample file to OneDrive and share the link here?

We’ll try best to help you troubleshoot it.😊

    Best regards,

    Gloria

    Hello,

Here is an image of 3 of my columns.

As you can see, the Sector tab is light grey and not the black color font as the other tab headers.

    Hi,

Thanks for your effort to back with us, we do wanna further troubleshoot it, it seems that you have multiple columns with different data, to save time and further investigate it, if convenient, would you please upload a sample file to OneDrive and share it with us? We will test it on our side and see if we can reproduce it or not. 😊

    Best regards,

    Gloria
