Duplication link not working

Hi I am having issues with duplicating a form on Microsoft Forms.

When I click on the "Duplicate It" button, it just redirects me back to the Forms home page, without actually duplicating the form. I have tried using different browsers and incognito mode to carry out the same action but it did not work as well. I'm wondering if there is any way to overcome this issue?

I tried to work around this issue by inviting others to collaborate but I did not have the option to generate such a link.

Thanks in advance! Really appreciated it!

Hi! In the video recording, I could only record one window so this part was not recorded and may have caused some confusion. I sincerely apologise for that.

I had actually first copied the duplicate link of my own test form in Google Chrome and then went over to the InPrivate Microsoft Edge browser to try and duplicate my test form using the test account you created.

So yes, I understood what you meant and did what you suggested, which was to use a different account to sign in and try to duplicate. I signed into the test account you created and attempted to duplicate a form that I created with my own account, but was still unsuccessful as seen in the video recording I sent you.

I just tried one more time to be sure and the results were still the same. I paste the duplicate link of my test form in the browser and went to the form and tried to duplicate it. When prompted to sign in, I signed in with the test account you created but after I signed in, it just brought me to the home page and nothing else happened.

Hope this makes what I did clearer. Although I now have a method to workaround this issue, it is pretty inconvenient so hopefully this issue can be resolved soon for everyone's sake.

Would still like to say thanks for being so patient despite going back and forth on this issue for a week now. Really appreciate it!

    Hi all,

Thanks for writing back with us. As you can see above mention screenshot it works from my side using Microsoft personal account or work/school account.

Since, Microsoft form link is generated from server side, I suggest you please contact  ASAP Microsoft support (Microsoft Virtual Agent) for help to resolve this issue for Microsoft personal account.

I appreciate your patience and understanding.

    Best Regards

    Waqas Muhammad

Hi! Really sorry for the late reply.

Before putting this question up here, I have actually contacted Microsoft Support through their virtual agent and live chat but they were unable to provide any solution as well. They had advised me to try different browsers and to create a new account with a email that has a Microsoft domain (e.g. Outlook or Hotmail), which I did but still did not work.

I sincerely appreciate and thank you for all the time and effort you took to help resolve this issue! Hope you have a great week ahead :)

    Hi muahchee,

If using new created Microsoft account doe does not help in your side that means issue might be related with your environment. I suggest you can change your environment to see the result.

I appreciate your patience and understanding.

    Best Regards

May I ask what do you mean by changing my environment?
