Another user here extremely frustrated by the non-response and lack of help from MS. Would LOVE to see this feature added as it has been a lingering issue for way too long!
Convert handwriting to text with Apple Pencil on onenote with iPad Pro
Hello i have recently started using onenote to take notes for my classes, however i enjoy using handwriting with my apple pencil and having it converted into text like i have with other apps. There is no “ink to text”, only a “ink to shape”

Come on Microsoft. You either support OneNote on iPad or not.

2021-07-21T01:51:05+00:00 Same here….totally frustrated. I have this beautiful iPad for note taking and I thought MS was on the same level with keeping up with them…but I guess not. Guess I’ll have to move everything back over to apple products and get apple notes, etc. Another disappointing product from microsoft…..can’t even add the ink to handwriting feature for apple users….sheesh!

2021-08-13T15:02:30+00:00 Microsoft, this has been a concern for years and it is high time Office 365 team addresses this. The ink to Text feature in One Note "for iPad" was needed years ago. How long does it take for your smart engineers to enable this?
Why would an existing feature in the package be limited for iPad?
PLEASE ADD THE FEATURE. 100s of thousands of paying users of Office 365 mobile will be happy.
