Bullets not formatting correctly

Hi,

Recently this issue has started to happen. When I type an intro line for a bullet list followed by the first line that will actually be the bullet point, then attempt to make that first list line the first bullet point, the bullet appears above for the intro line, not the bullet,

Its a real pain to fix as I have to delete the returns to make it one line, press Enter to create a second bullet point, then remove the bullet from the first line.

I'm not using Shift + Enter or anything like that after the intro line, just a regular Enter. I don't believe I have changed anything in the Normal template or Outlook either, but that is possible.

Any advice on how to stop it from happening?

Thanks, Andy

I believe that you are using Shift+Enter rather than just Enter to move from the intro line to the line that is to be the first bulleted item.

Thanks Doug, just confirming that I am definitely not doing Shift + Enter as I am aware that keeps the indent without the bullet, though it is the same behaviour (I incorrectly said CTRL + Enter earlier.) Andy

Your screen shot is from Outlook. Are you seeing this in Outlook specifically, not in Word?

Hi Stefan, I'm not 100% sure to be fair. I use Outlook so much more than Word and obviously Word is the editor. Andy

Your screen shot is definitely of Outlook, which while it uses a "Word-like" editor, it no longer uses Word as its editor.

In Outlook message screen, press CTRL+SHIFT+8 that is the 8 key above U and I and then show us a screen shot before you apply the bullet to the second line of text.

I believe that you will see
