Change the default tab space and the line width
After some fixing on setting and the reinstallation of Word, some of my Word settings are different from before.
- the line width
In the past, the line width is wider than now. These two pictures are taken at the top left corner.
After:
As you see, the blinking bar would not touch the "L-shaped" corner. But it will touch it closer than before. How can I change the setting?
- The tab space
Before, every time I tapped the tab button, the blinking bar will jump for 2 inches. However, after the reinstallation, it turns to 3 inches. I am sure that the first time I used this function is 2 inches.
I know I can change the tab space by Home > paragraph > >

. But it only works in that file, if I create a new document, it also jumps for 3 inches. How can I set the default tab space to 2 inches rather than 3 inches so that I do not need to set it every time I open a file.

Otherwise, look at the paragraph formatting for space before. That may have changed in the paragraph style being applied, the Normal style by default. This can be modified.
