Sharepoint Edit in Grid View issue

We have a sharepoint list, that for some reason now, upon editting in Grid view, adds an exclamation mark and when trying to exit grid view, states "You need to fix some problems before we can save your changes" or you can use "Go Fix Them" button.. Using the button does nothing.. Exiting, it does not save?

Other lists work fine?

We have tried to create a new view of the list, but with no success.

Any ideas?

    Hi Chris,

    We understand you are using modern experience in your list, please try switching to classic experience, try editing the list, check if you still get the same error. To switch, click Return to classic SharePoint at the bottom-left corner of the page.

    Once you are in classic experience, select the List tab on the ribbon and click Quick Edit, now try editing the list, check if you get the same issue.

    Besides, please try opening browser in InPrivate mode and check if you get the same issue. You can also try another browser in InPrivate mode and check the result.

    If the issue persists, please check with the other members of the site to confirm if they see the same behavior.

    Weird that Msft suggests using classic to resolve bugs in the modern ui....why not just get these bugs fixed?

    Apologies failed to add, that this issue is not isolated to just myself and other colleagues have the same issue.

    Hi Chris,

    The reason I suggested to check the classic mode was just to verify whether issue is in modern experienced only or classic view is also affected.
