Hi Tim
Good point. It works fine on my old Macbook Air. I got another refurbished Macbook Air recently and the problem is only on that laptop. I wonder what the problem could be.

I have recently changed laptops. I often used Powerpoint via Office 365 on my old laptop but I am having trouble on my new laptop. Both laptops are MacBook Airs. Now my slides open and appear normal in edit mode but in presentation mode only the outline of the images show up and the text similarly only appears as outlined text. Each letter is just an faint outline filled with the slide background colour. How does one fix this? Thank you.

Hi,
Thanks for getting back to me. So essentially the online application is working correctly and as such we have isolated it to your computer.
Maybe something in the operating system is corrupt or the installation of Office is potentially corrupt also.
Are you able to try uninstalling office and then reinstalling?
Look forward to hearing from you.
Many thanks
Tim
Hi Tim
I tried that but it is still the same.
What other options do I have ?
Derek
Hi Derek,
Unless another advisor can provide any other advice, it maybe worth while speaking to a Microsoft Agent direct online, they may need to remotely access your Mac.
I have posted below a link for help and support:-
