Hi,

Is the Excel File for MS Form Responses only reside in the Responses Tab or is it also located in SharePoint or OneDrive somewhere for each Form?

Thank you for your help,

Joe

    Hi Joe45Joe,

Thanks for your valuable feedback and sharing updates with us and I really appreciate your effort and your precious time doing.

And I appreciate your kind words.

Regarding to, "I set "Who can fill out this form" to "Anyone can respond". I notice with this setting it does not collect the name nor the email of the submitter. Is this standard?" yes you are correct when we set setting "Anyone can respond" in a Microsoft Form it will not show the responder name information. And yes you can set the setting "Only people in my organization can respond" to get user/responder information.

Your understanding and patience will be highly appreciated. I hope that you are keeping safe and well!

    Sincerely,

    Waqas Muhammad

    Hi Wagas,

I'm sorry to bother you again but would you be able to help me out with a curious issue? I am not getting any email notifications when the form is submitted. Below are my settings. I checked my SPAM folder and nothing there. Thank you again for your help. - Joe

    Dear Joe45Joe,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

As per your description, generally, in Microsoft Forms see the responses in Excel File for Responses tab.

However, if you would like to have the responses stored in a file in SharePoint/OneDrive, you can do that. First create an excel file in SharePoint/OneDrive, now from within the file, click insert and choose form:

When you receive responses, they will be stored in the same excel file in SharePoint/OneDrive:

Also, another way you can refer to the following Flow to store each response into the Excel file stored in SharePoint/OneDrive:

    Hi Wagas,

Thank you very much for your help! I built a test in SharePoint and it works awesome! :)

Sorry, but have another quick question. I set "Who can fill out this form" to "Anyone can respond". I notice with this setting it does not collect the name nor the email of the submitter. Is this standard? Do I have to use another setting to collect this info?

Thank you again for all your help,

    Joe
