Simple excel sheet protected itself?

I have a simple excel sheet that I keep track of my hours for different projects, etc. I think ever since I tried adding a macro to clear certain cells, and another macro to insert a row, appears to be when the problem started? The macros are very simple, although I never got them to work successfully. I searched all macros for the entire workbook for ".protect", but found nothing. Any ideas? I don't share it with anyone else. and i tried unprotecting it by hitting enter with no password, that didn't work either. So if it protected the worksheet somehow, is there a default password it would have assigned?

Now that i have recreated the file, and it worked for a week or so. Some of the cells on one of the tabs are locked and that tab has been protected. I know i didn't do it. And now this work book is junk again.

Any ideas whats causing this? Is it possible to "accidentally" lock it with keyboard strokes, or a macro, that I'm doing inadvertently?

Macro can protect your workbook. You can create a new workbook to check if there is any macro there.

If not, it can be only manual protected.
