How do I change my default "Save as File Type" from saving as a .png instead of saving as a .jpeg, when saving a picture in Windows 11?

When you do a "Save as File Type" the default always saves an image as a .png format rather than a .jpg format. All images I "Save As" are .jpg image files. Why can't I set the "Save as File Type" default, as .jpg rather than .png format in Windows 11? Jpg format files are all I use and it would be nice if the defaul would be .jpg NOT .png File Format.

This changes the default program, so that when you open a JPEG, it'll open in the Photos app.

If you're saving an image in the Photos app, it still defaults to PNG, and you have to manually change it to JPEG in the drop-down menu (if you remember to!) Can anyone solve this problem?
