Dear RomeoV2024,
In the row trigger in the Excel part in Power Automate, you need to trigger the flow when you select the row.
You can select the Instant cloud flow type>For a selected row in Power Automate to start creating the flow.

I need Excel to be able to copy cell data and paste it in to a Microsoft Teams channel as an automation or flow.
When I enter in the phrase "In Progress" in to cell J1then i need the cell data in G1 and i1 to copy and paste in to a specific Microsoft Teams channel. Is this possible? Thanks in advance! :)

I'm really lost here. No matter what I do nothing is working. I keep getting a lot of errors for the flow which I don't understand how to fix.
Would you be so kind to give me detailed instructions on how to create this? I'm new to Power Automate and Triggers, etc.
Example of my work flow:
Starting at the top and working my way down, I update a cell in the Status column to be "In Progress." When I do that, I need the data in that corresponding row in cells G and I to be automatically copied and pasted in to a Teams chat. So If I change the Cell J2 to "in progress" then the data in Cell G2 and I2 will be automatically copied and pasted in to a specific Teams channel.
That same idea should work when ever I update any cell in column J to "In Progress." Then the data in that specific row in the specific cells should be copy pasted in to a Teams Channel.
Hope this makes sense. I know I'm asking a lot. So thank you in advance! Much appreciated. :)
Thank you Cliff! :)
Dear RomeoV2024,
Thanks for your updates.
The dramatic column names should match the columns in the Excel file you are using. It is got from the For a selected row trigger.
So in your environment, in the Condition action, it should be Status is equal to In Progress.
In the Post message in a chat or channel action, you should select Contact List/Filter and Talking Points in Message.
I do that from my flow as follows in the example.
.
Thanks for your time and effort.
Sincerely
