Also experiencing this, noticed this as of the same day of this post. Confirmed it's not a cache/cookie issue in the browser, all links are unclickable in all my Excel documents that come from SharePoint/OneDrive when trying to view them on the web.
Not able click on the links directly on Excel Web Access Web Part in SharePoint Online
I have an excel file, with a lot of sharepoint link. I have inserted this spreadsheet in the SharePoint classic page using Excel Web Access Webpart. As per the users, before, the link is opening when the users click on the URLs. Now, users need to right click then choose to open link. Is there any possibility that we can change this behaviour?

2023-12-07T00:26:30+00:00 I also have the same issue. I have multiple files in SharePoint with Hyperlinks to various sheets within the same documents, but the hyperlinks are no longer working automatically on a 'click'.
This has only just started happening this week, and only with the 'online' Excel.
The files themselves have been existing for over a year, and worked perfectly until this week.
I can manually right-click to 'open' the links and the hyperlinks still work, they also work correctly if I download and run the file in the Excel desktop program- but clicking a cell with any internal hyperlink in SharePoint Excel no longer does anything!
This is extremely annoying and time consuming to use- has a recent update broken the online Excel?
Update- I was using Chrome, but tested with EDGE and it has the same behavior.
No longer displaying the little 'hand' that would lead to a hyper-link destination using either browser to my Sharepoint Excel workbooks- it appears to be the Online Excel that is the issue.
I also found some older sheets (that haven't been updated for a long period) are MOSTY doing the same, but the odd cell still shows the Hyper-link hand (and works).
Seems to be catching as this started with one worksheet and is now spreading to them all.

2023-12-08T05:53:08+00:00 Dear Koteswara Varma,
Good day! Thank you for your reply to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.
Because of many users have the same issue, I did the test on our end again and again multiple times we noticed some links have no problem some hyperlinks have the problem and some links not open at all have to right-click to open . We believe the issue is related to the backend. As a community, we do not have the necessary permission or the tools to test from the backend. We only can provide suggestions according to the quarry To test the collection of more information remotely and to give a fix to the issue We’d suggest you contact your office 365 administrator to go to Office 365 Admin Center-> Support-> New Service Request, the support engineers there have the correct escalation channel, and this is the most efficient way to report such an issue. You can refer to this article to check the way how to raise a ticket. Ways to contact support for business products - Admin help. The engineers in the related team have higher permission and resources than us and they may help check it from the background.
Your understanding and patience will be highly appreciated.
If there is any misunderstanding, please feel free to correct me.
Have a nice day!
Best regards,

2024-01-02T19:01:18+00:00 I noticed this same issue in early December. As of today (1/2/24), our links are now working as they previously did. I no longer need to open the drop-down menu to utilize the link. Problem solved.
