Thanks Andreas. I followed your advice and reported the issue in Office Feedback. Our corporate MS Office policies prevent execution of macros so I'll need to wait for MSFT to fix.
Ctrl+Shift+C and Ctrl+Shift+V to copy/paste formats not working in Excel
I have been using the Ctrl+Shift+C and Ctrl+Shift+V to copy/paste formats in Excel for years but they have stopped working. The computer beeps when I try them. There is no Customize Keyboard option in Excel either. Were these options removed?

2024-08-21T12:26:17+00:00 I used it for decades, as well in word, but even there it does not work anymore. It is not you.

2024-09-11T13:36:25+00:00 Thank you thank you thank you. This has been killing me for months now. Someone suggested using the paintbrush, but that takes too much time to move the mouse up to the menu, find that tool and then move back to what needs format-copy-pasting. The keyboard shortcuts are there for a reason - because they are quicker when you're already on and using the keyboard.
Now I just have to retrain my brain and finger muscle memory to use the ALT instead of SHIFT. This will be hard because I've been using the CTRL-SHIFT-C/CTRL-SHIFT-V for close to 15 years or so. 🙄
Anyhow, still, thank you for the solution.

2024-10-02T14:41:44+00:00 This was the solution for me: Paste Plain Text with Ctrl + Shift + V - Word and other Office 365 Apps [Solution]
Edit: Doh, nevermind, I forgot the question was about Excel, not Word. But maybe it works, since it says "other Office 365 Apps". I just haven't tried it in Excel yet.
