Instead of my files saving to my computer some of them save to https://d.docs.live.net.53e22b9e14726e2e.

Hi Stefan,
In my case, the documents get the NAME d.docs.live.net, which overwrites the original file name and then OneDrive insists there are inconsistencies and refuses to save the file under the name I want it to be saved.
Have you seen this?
I do need to save to OneDrive instead of locally, so I can't disconnect from OneDrive. But, I do not understand why OneDrive changes a filename and creates confusion.
Thanks for your help
Heidi
I agree. Its time microsoft sorted this.
As far as I know, the d.docs.live.net part is only the path, not the actual file name. However, I haven't experienced this myself, so maybe I'm missing something.
Are you opening files directly from OneDrive, for example via File > Open, or are you synchronizing files via the OneDrive app?
I have the same issue. My Windows OS suddenly got wonky for no reason and one of the problems is it won't save my documents under the names I assign them. It instead saves them under d.docs.live.net and doesn't always save my changes!
What is going on and how do I resolve this? My laptop is less than one year old and also is running on Windows 11.
