Microsoft Loop - no longer able to add links to documents?

I seem to only be able to add pages instead of links to other documents within Loop today. Did something change? There used to be a + button that existed that gave you an option to add a page or add a link. The link would then be able to go to a Word Doc or Excel, etc. Now I just see an X and no option to add a link.

Over the last few days, it looks like the Loop Dashboard just reformatted and the + sign that used to be located after the Workspace title is simply moved over to the far left... circled below.

I swear I spent way too long looking for it and I believe there was a delay in getting the options uploaded correctly under that drop down menu. But its there now.

    Dear Kate Wildenstein,

Good day. Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community.

Based on your description, I have tested it on my side and I can’t reproduce the same scenario.

To narrow down the issue and focus on the specific scenario, could you provide me following information?

    1. Please open this loop workspace from Loop online and check if you have the same issue.
    2. May I know do your colleagues have the same issue? Do other workspaces?

Thank you for your time and understanding.

    Sincerely,

    Claire | Microsoft Community Moderator

    Dear Matthew S22,

Thank you for your concern and sharing.

I tested it again and I can’t reproduce the same scenario. At the same time, I have checked it on my side and I don’t find any related Service Incident in Service Status Dashboard (SHD). I’m afraid this issue needs to feedback to the relevant team to fix. I recommend you contact the administrator in your tenant and let him open a support ticket to our related team to seek further help: Get support - Microsoft 365 admin | Microsoft Learn

Thank you for your time and patience.

    Sincerely,
