Sync error

On the app I have a banner up the top that says 'Sync Error We're having trouble syncing. Click "sign in again" to fix this issue.' However, no matter how many times I sign in this doesn't go away. I have tried restarting the app and updating it but nothing seems to work.

    Hi! Mollie1566,

I apologize for the inaccurate response I provided earlier!

For Mac devices, can you please clear your current login information from your Mac device by following the instructions below, and then log back into your account to activate your Office apps to see if the problem still occurs.

Please click on the link: How to remove Office license files on a Mac - Microsoft Support, Download the tool to clean the key. After the cleanup is complete, please restart your Mac device.

Before you clear your Mac device's login information, please follow the steps below to check if your subscription is bound to your Microsoft account:

    a. Click on the link: Microsoft account | Services & subscriptions and log in to the Microsoft account you used to activate the Office applications.

    b. Click on Services & Subscriptions on the left hand side of the page and find your Office subscription information on that page.

If your subscription is not tied into your Microsoft account, you may need to reactivate the Microsoft Office application with a previous key. Best RegardsEddy | Microsoft Community Support Specialist
