Hey so we are having this EXACT same issue since the new update rolled out. We have found if we turn off the internet, go all the way into bedrock, then turn it back on once in it will load our profile. You have to do it every time, though. Or another work around that seems to work is to go in, then toggle off wifi and toggle it back on and it seems to load. Hope this can help you!

Sorry, put this in a comment as well. Executing this repair tool as the impacted user fixed my issue. Not sure if executing as one user fixes everyone. This is a relatively recent change made by the Microsoft/Mojang team. Before approximately 11/4/2025 nothing fixed the issue.

Same issue here. We reset password. Uninstalled and reinstalled to a different drive. Still getting the same error: DROWNED. This has to be a bad update.

I am experiencing the same error message “drowned”. I tried all recommended solutions for my kid’s child account. Changing password, logging out/ logging back in , restarting computer, uninstalling / reinstalling, clearing cache, etc

I submitted a support case and bug as well. Any guidance or success in troubleshooting would be much appreciated.

    Hi CookiePlayzReal,

Thank you for posting, I am here to help you today. Possible cause of this error is due to incorrect credentials, temporary service outages, or corrupted user data.

Try this step to fix the problem:

Ensure your internet is stable (test on another site/device).

    Disable Firewall

    Check System time

    Clear Windows Credential:

Click start button and search control panel.
