Capturing audio, video, and screen content from Teams meetings for later review or sharing
Hi @Alberini, Mark,
Thank you for posting your question to Microsoft Q&A Forum.
Meeting recordings and transcripts are critical for your work, so I’ve provided straightforward steps to ensure you can access them quickly.
After a Microsoft Teams meeting ends, both the recording and transcript are stored based on your organization’s settings:
- Meeting Chat: You can find the recording link and transcript file directly in the meeting chat.
- Storage Location:
- Private meetings → Organizer’s OneDrive
- Channel meetings → SharePoint
- Access via Calendar:
- Go to Teams → Calendar → Select the meeting → Recording link
- Transcript Access:
- Go to Teams → Calendar → Select the meeting → Details → Transcript tab
- Transcripts are saved in OneDrive/SharePoint alongside the recording.
Notes:
- Processing may take a few minutes after the meeting ends.
- If you don’t see the transcript option, check with your IT admin, Live transcription must be enabled in Teams policies.
You can find information about this in this article: Recording and transcription for Teams meetings, events, and calls
