Dear @DavidFournier-4139,
Good day! Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum!
Based on your description, I understand that the text in the Excel VBA editor appears too small and hard to read, and you’re looking for a way to enlarge the font for better visibility. However, when you followed the instructions suggested by Q&A Assist, VBA editor’s font size setting accepts 10 but reverts to 8, resulting in text that’s hard to read.
I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by this issue. Regarding your situation, I have tested it on my end following these steps:
In the VBA editor: Tools > Options > Editor Format > Update Font (Courier New) and Size (12 to 18) for: Normal Text (main code body) > Click OK
The result was that the font size was changed, however, it was only up to 16, not 18 as I chose:
I tried with different fonts to be 18 and 24 in size, but they all reverted back to 16 regardless of fonts:
May I ask if you only have issue with choosing the size larger than 16 or the font doesn't change at all no matter what size or font you choose?
If nothing happens, could you please check if other people in the same organization have the same issue?
If they do, I recommend Reporting this issue within Excel so that the product team is aware of this and work on a fix in future updates.
Also, creating a support ticket with a Technical Support Engineer via a remote session so that they can investigate further on this matter is a good way to help this resolved.
