Since you haven’t specified your account type or your role within the organization, I’ll provide guidance based on the tag in your initial post. If he is using a personal account (such as @hotmail.com, @gmail.com, or @outlook.com), or if he is the only admin who needs to reset their password, please let me know so I can give you more accurate instructions.
Hi @Receptionist,
Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A Forum.
In order to have your password reset, please reach out to the IT admin in your church and ask them to:
- Sign in to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center using an account with Global admin or User admin permissions.
- In the left-hand menu, go to Users → Active users.
- Find and select the user whose password you want to reset.
- On the user details page, click Reset password.

- Choose to Automatically generate a password and
- Decide if you want to require the user to change their password at next sign-in (recommended).
-

- Click Reset password to confirm.
- Copy or download the new password and securely share it with the user.
