Can you please confirm whether this case is for a personal Microsoft account or a Microsoft 365 Business / work account?
If personal Microsoft account, please go back to Microsoft Support, sign in with the same Microsoft account you used before, and choose Contact Support. If chat isn’t available, try selecting a call back option if it’s offered.
