Because this involves a specific Microsoft 365 tenant and account, this type of error can’t be resolved publicly in this forum. Please follow these recommended steps to regain access:
- If there is another Global Administrator in the tenant, the quickest way to restore access is to ask them to follow this official Microsoft guide to reset the multi‑factor authentication (MFA) settings for your wife’s account.
However, if your wife is the only Global Administrator, she will need to use one of the supported recovery options below:
- Your wife should contact Microsoft Support so they can securely review the account, tenant configuration, and backend logs associated with the Request ID and Correlation ID you shared. She can reach support by phone using the contact numbers listed here: Customer service phone numbers.
- If phone support is not helpful, she can create a temporary trial tenant to raise a support request on behalf of the affected tenant: Go to Microsoft 365 Business Plans and Pricing and select Try for free > Sign in to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center > Select Help & support and submit a support request, clearly state that the ticket is being raised on behalf of the affected tenant. The support team will help create a ticket for the affected tenant, and later the Microsoft Data Protection team will assist your wife. Note: This method does not require using the trial account for business purposes. It is only used to create a temporary Global Administrator role to submit the support request. The trial is free for one month and should be deleted after the ticket is submitted to avoid any unintended renewals.
