Manual creation or linking of a Certification Profile (MCID) to a Microsoft account cannot be done through this channel. Issues where sign-in from Pearson VUE redirects back to the Microsoft Learn profile or where the Certification Dashboard/Certification Profile is missing must be handled by Microsoft Credentials Support.
Take these actions as soon as possible before the MB-800 exam date:
- Confirm the correct Learn account
- Sign out of all Microsoft accounts in the browser.
- Open a new InPrivate/Incognito window.
- Sign in to Microsoft Learn with the Microsoft account intended for certification.
- Go to the Learn profile → Certifications and verify this is the account used when scheduling the MB-800 exam.
- Try accessing certifications from Learn
- From the Learn profile, select Certifications.
- If the page does not show certification details or upcoming appointments, or continues to loop back to the profile, this indicates a profile/linking issue that must be fixed by support.
- Contact Microsoft Credentials Support
- Open a case with Microsoft Credentials Support and describe:
- That sign-in from Pearson VUE → Microsoft redirects only to the Learn profile.
- That the Certification Dashboard/Certification Profile (MCID) appears missing or not linked.
- That an MB-800 exam is already scheduled and a system test is required.
- Support can investigate the account, create or repair the Certification Profile, and ensure it is correctly linked to the Microsoft account used for exam registration.
- Open a case with Microsoft Credentials Support and describe:
If access to the Learn profile itself fails or loops, follow the guidance in the online exam article (using an InPrivate/Incognito browser and then opening a case with Credentials Support) so that a moderator/support agent can assist.
