I have a problem with my navigation bar in Outlook, it happened when I downloaded from the "coming soon, try it now" button. So I believe it's linked to the new update coming out of Microsoft 11, and this is in Outlook on my PC.

I don't want to know how to move things up and down in the navigation bar, I want to move the whole bar from the left side where it went when I downloaded the "coming soon, try it now button", back to where it was at the bottom under my inboxes.

I really don't care what's in the navigation bar, it's where it is that's bothering me!

I'm having the same issue. I don't have a Coming Soon bar since it was removed as a feature. Is there any way to get it back so the navigation shortcut pin bar goes back below the inboxes instead of the left? I don't know how to undo an update.

Did you ever get a "fix" for this issue? It's a pain in the A** and i cant seem to move it back to the bottom!

I too saw this change this morning and was very concerned as I was not prepared having not seen the change alert notifying me of the upcoming change. (I get so many of those I probably didn't realize the impact of what it said).

I opened a support case with Microsoft this morning to get more info on the change and received a callback within 10 minutes. :)

This change is coming. Yes, you can do the /Safe mode thing to temporarily move the navigation bar back under the folder pane however future updates will most likely make this a permanent change. I did NOT test this as I wasn't sure if that would also permanently mess with my custom views, conditional formats, rules, and all the other tweaks I have in my profile.

I wasn't as concerned with the location of the navigation bar, only that I didn't initially see where to access my shortcuts or my full folder list. They are both accessible via the ... elipsis at the bottom of the bar.

You can right click on each of the various icons to pin them to the list, move them up or down, get to options, and various other choices depending on the icon choice.

I was able to trace (recreate) the problem to 150% Scaling
outlook /safe did resolve the issue though.

Recently I had the strange movement of Navigation Pane from Bottom Left of screen, within Outlook, to the Top Left of the screen. Simply switching off the "Coming Soon" option, returned the Navigation Pane to the Bottom Left of the screen. Thanks for the help & solution provided by @Jade Liang-MSFT

Thanks for the fix - the navigation bar is back to its properly place rather than wasting horizontal space.

Microsoft - please make sure that this change can be turned off permanently (with an option). It's bad design.

I was able to get mine back the the bottom left by 'turning off' the "Coming Soon Try it now" in the top right corner. Had to close and reopen Outlook for the change to take effect. Not sure why Microsoft has to keep screwing around with something that already works??
