To cancel a Microsoft subscription (such as one associated with a game or service) on a PC, use the Microsoft account that was used to buy it and cancel it from the Services & subscriptions page.

Follow these steps:

1. Go to the Subscriptions / Services & subscriptions page: https://account.microsoft.com/services and sign in with the Microsoft account that was used to purchase the subscription.
2. Find the relevant subscription in the list and select Manage.
   • If instead of Manage there is an option Turn on recurring billing, the subscription is already set to expire on the date shown and will not be charged again.
3. On the next page, select Cancel (or Upgrade or Cancel, depending on the subscription type).
4. Scroll through and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the cancellation.

If the subscription was purchased through a third party (for example, via Google Play or Apple App Store), cancellation and any refund must be handled through that provider’s support, not through Microsoft.

For refund eligibility (if applicable), cancellation is required first; some countries also support prorated refunds depending on subscription length and local policy.
