Hello Tess. Thanks for reaching out. My name is Diana. I'm an independent advisor and a Microsoft fan like you.

Kindly note that this community is composed of fellow Microsoft users—we are not Microsoft employees and do not have access to tools or systems to review transactions or account details.

For your billing issue, I recommend to directly contact Microsoft support specifically with Accounts and Billing department.

To do that, please refer to the steps below:

    1. Go to this link:  https://support.microsoft.com/contactus and sign in your Microsoft account

    1. On the "Tell us your problem so we can get you the right help and support" - just type "Billing issue" then search

    1. You will see Recommended Solution, just scroll down until you can see "Contact support"

    1. Under "Tell us a little more about your problem", select "Microsoft 365 and Office"

    1. For Category select > manage my subscription > then confirm

    1. Select Chat with a support agent in your web browser

    1. Confirm your account and you should be routed to Microsoft support representative who have the appropriate tools and resources to investigate and assist you further with the billing concern.

To cancel Microsoft 365 and check if a refund is possible, follow these steps:

    1. Go to the Services & subscriptions page for Microsoft 365:
    2. Find the Microsoft 365 subscription that was charged $106.99 and select Manage.
      • If instead of Manage it shows Turn on recurring billing, the subscription is already set to expire on the date shown and no further charges will occur; it will remain usable until it expires.
    3. On the Manage page, select Cancel (or Upgrade or Cancel, depending on what is shown).
      • If there is no Cancel option and only Turn on recurring billing, the subscription is already set to end and there is nothing more to do for cancellation.
    4. During cancellation, follow the on‑screen steps. Cancellation is required before refund eligibility can be checked. Not all cancellations result in a refund.

    Additional points:

    • If the subscription was purchased through Google Play or the Apple App Store, cancellation and any refund must be requested through their support, not Microsoft.
    • In some countries (for example Canada, Israel, Korea, Turkey, and certain longer renewed subscriptions in Denmark, Finland, Germany, Netherlands, Poland, and Portugal), cancelling may entitle to a prorated refund. See the prorated refund article linked in the context pages.
    • If there is no option to cancel or turn off recurring billing, verify:
      • The correct Microsoft account is being used.
      • The subscription was not purchased from a third‑party retailer (Amazon, Best Buy, etc.); if it was, contact that retailer.
      • There is no overdue balance on the payment method; overdue amounts must be paid before cancellation.

If cancellation still cannot be completed online after these checks, use the guided support flow from the “Unable to cancel your Microsoft subscription” article to get further help from support.
