The message in the screenshot means Windows cannot find or open the Roblox app. Use these steps to get Roblox working again from Microsoft Store on Windows 10/11:
- Open Microsoft Store
- Select Start.
- Type Microsoft Store and open it.
- Check that Microsoft Store works
- Make sure other apps can download or update.
- If downloads are stuck or do not start, follow these steps:
- Press Windows key + S, type services.msc, and open it.
- Find Microsoft Store Install Service.
- If the status is Running, right‑click and choose Restart.
- If it is Disabled, set Startup type to Automatic, click Start, then OK.
- Install or reinstall Roblox from Microsoft Store
- In Microsoft Store, search for Roblox.
- Select the Roblox app, then choose Get or Install.
- Wait for the download and installation to finish, then launch Roblox from the Store or from Start > All apps.
- If apps from Store still will not install or open
- On Windows 11, make sure there is no bandwidth or metered‑connection limit that blocks Store downloads:
- Go to Settings > Windows Update > Advanced options > Delivery optimization and remove or raise any download limits.
- Go to Settings > Network & internet, open the active connection, and turn off Metered connection if it is on.
- If Microsoft Store itself is not working (apps stuck at 0%, no error), restart the PC and try again after confirming the Microsoft Store Install Service is running as above.
If Roblox was previously installed but the shortcut is broken, installing it again from Microsoft Store will recreate a working shortcut and fix the “Windows cannot find ‘roblox’” error.
