Completion of a single learning module on Microsoft Learn does not always grant a certificate. Certificates and badges are issued for Microsoft Certifications (such as AZ-900, AZ-104, MS-900, GH-300, etc.) and appear in the Certification Dashboard and Credentials profile, not directly for every module.
To verify and access certificates and badges when a certification exam has been passed:
- Go to the Certification Dashboard using this page: Access your Certification Dashboard.
- In the dashboard:
- Select View Certificates in the Certificates section to see and download any earned certificates.
- Select View Transcript in the Transcript section to download or share the official transcript.
- If the certification requires multiple exams, the certificate is only issued after all required exams are passed.
- If a certificate or badge is still missing after passing the required exam(s) and waiting up to 24–48 hours, open a request with Microsoft Credentials Support as described in the referenced Q&A posts.
If only a learning module or learning path was completed (without an associated certification exam), there may be no formal Microsoft Certification certificate—only the learning achievement shown in the Microsoft Learn profile.
