Certification transfer between accounts cannot be performed directly in the Learn profile and cannot be handled through self-service tools. This scenario requires assistance from Microsoft Credentials Support.
Use the dedicated Microsoft Credentials Support channel and submit a support request explaining:
- That the Azure Fundamentals certification is associated with a previous work email account that has been deactivated.
- The certification details (title, Credential ID, approximate date).
- The old work email address and the new personal Microsoft account email address that should hold the certification.
- Any additional identity-verification information they request.
To start this process, go to Microsoft Credentials Support and create a support request for missing or misassigned certifications.
If there are any issues accessing the Learn profile or Microsoft account itself (for example, if the old account cannot be recovered), account recovery is only available through the Microsoft Account Help self-service flows referenced in the documentation. Microsoft Credentials Support cannot recover or transfer contents from a Learn profile that cannot be accessed, so resolving any account-access issues first is important.
