    Greetings!

This is Tin, may I know if you have already redeemed your Free 1 year subscription from your new laptop? If yes, did you used the same account? To confirm, please check it from https://account.microsoft.com/services

Kindly check if it's there, I'm afraid that it was merged to the previous subscription that you have that you have cancelled. If yes, it would be best to reach MS Accounts & Billing to check on this:

    Kindly open this link: https://support.microsoft.com/contactus/

Ensure that your MS Account has been signed in (the one with the subscription)

Type "Chat with an agent" and hit Enter.

    Please click the "Contact support"

Please select the "Products and services"

Please follow the prompts to connect with a live agent.

You may also choose the "Call me back" option if you prefer to receive a call.

Once you're connected to the Live Agent, please let them know about your issue so they could check your account and address your concern.

    Thank you,

    Tin

The free 1‑year Microsoft 365 that came with the laptop is a separate subscription from the monthly one that was cancelled. Canceling the paid monthly subscription does not automatically activate or manage the device’s included 1‑year offer. The new subscription likely was never activated or is associated with a different Microsoft account.

To restore access, follow these steps:

    1. Confirm which account has which subscription
      1. Go to the Services & subscriptions page: https://account.microsoft.com/services
      2. Sign in with the Microsoft account used for the cancelled monthly subscription.
      3. Under Services & subscriptions, check if any active Microsoft 365 subscription is listed.
      4. If none appears, sign out and try any other Microsoft account that might have been used when setting up the new laptop.
    2. Check where the subscription was purchased or activated
      1. On the same Services & subscriptions page, select Manage for any Microsoft 365 entry.
      2. If the subscription was purchased through Microsoft, management options appear there.
      3. If it was obtained through a third‑party retailer (for example, via the laptop bundle), the Manage button may redirect to that retailer’s site. In that case, follow the retailer’s instructions or contact them to confirm the bundled 1‑year subscription and how to activate it.
    3. If the bundled 1‑year subscription was never activated
      • Check the laptop box, documentation, or retailer email for an activation card, product key, or link.
      • The subscription only starts after activation; cancelling the old monthly plan does not automatically transfer or extend to the new one.
    4. If the subscription still does not appear
      • Verify the expiration date of any existing subscription using the Find out when your Microsoft 365 subscription expires guidance.
      • If the date or status does not look right, contact Microsoft Support from the links provided in the documentation.

If the 1‑year subscription was purchased or provisioned by a third‑party retailer as part of the laptop bundle and is not visible under the Microsoft account’s Services & subscriptions, contact that retailer’s support to confirm entitlement and activation.
