Changing from a physical test center appointment to an online proctored exam is done by rescheduling the existing exam booking through the exam provider (Pearson VUE) and then selecting the online option if it is available for the AZ-900 exam in the country/region.
Follow these steps:
- Sign in to the same exam provider account used to schedule the AZ-900 exam (typically Pearson VUE via the Microsoft certification site).
- Locate the existing AZ-900 appointment and choose the option to reschedule.
- During rescheduling, when prompted for delivery method/location, select the online proctored option instead of a test center, if it appears. If the online option does not appear, it is not available from that provider for the region.
- Complete the reschedule process and confirm the new date/time.
- Before exam day, run the required system test and review the online exam requirements:
- Run the system pre-check/system test on the computer that will be used for the exam to ensure it meets requirements. If the system test fails, it is recommended to use a test center instead.
- Review the online testing protocol, testing environment requirements, and identity verification requirements, including the need for a clear government-issued ID and a clean, private room.
If there are any issues with rescheduling or with the delivery method options, contact Pearson VUE support for assistance.
