Open Command Prompt as Administrator.
Run this command in Command Prompt and press Enter.
wsreset -iWhen that command completes, check if the Store app is working correctly.
If that does not get the store working, go to wherever you downloaded AtlasOS to see if they provide an ISO for download, if they do, the best option is to perform an in-place repair with that ISO.

- Reset the Store cache
- Press Windows key + R.
- Type
wsreset.exeand select OK. - A blank Command Prompt opens; wait 10–30 seconds until it closes and Microsoft Store reopens automatically.
- Make sure Windows and Store are updated
- Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and install all updates.
- Open Microsoft Store, go to … (See more) > Downloads and updates, and install any Store updates.
- Run the Windows Store Apps troubleshooter (Windows 10)
- Select Start > Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot.
- Select Windows Store Apps > Run the troubleshooter and apply any fixes it suggests.
- Repair/Reset the Microsoft Store app
- Go to Settings > Apps > Installed apps.
- Find Microsoft Store, select Advanced options.
- First try Repair. If it still fails, use Reset.
- Re-register Microsoft Store if needed
If Store still will not update/open correctly, re-register it:
- Open PowerShell as administrator.
- Run:
Confirm the package exists.Get-AppxPackage *Microsoft.WindowsStore* -AllUsers - Then run (from a non‑elevated PowerShell if registering for the current user):
Add-AppxPackage -RegisterByFamilyName -MainPackage Microsoft.WindowsStore_8wekyb3d8bbwe
- Check that Store isn’t blocked
If this is a customized “gaming OS” build, policies or firewall rules might be blocking Store:
- Make sure Microsoft Store opens without a policy message.
- Ensure required Windows Update/Store endpoints are not blocked by firewall or proxy, as described in the Store download failures guidance.
If after these steps the Store still shows “pardon the interruption” and cannot update, the Atlas build may have removed or disabled components that Microsoft Store requires; in that case, use a supported Windows 10 installation for reliable Store access.
