Issue while attending examination

2026-05-28T03:43:52.2566667+00:00

Hi! I'm Yohgesh from India. I scheduled my Github Copilot examination for 26th May 9pm - 11pm IST. I even tried attending, I uploaded the ID card images, Front back left right of the room and everything. But after everything, when the next step is the examination it said that something went wrong, cancel or reschedule it for later. The problem is I'm don't finad any option to cancel or reschedule it. I've tried in many ways. Please let me know how to resolve this. Thank You.

Contact Pearson Vue support https://home.pearsonvue.com/microsoft/contact for issues when taking an exam

Use the exam delivery provider and support channels to resolve this.

    1. Try to reschedule or cancel from the Learn profile:
      • Sign in to the Microsoft Learn profile that was used to schedule the exam.
      • Select the profile avatar → Profile.
      • Go to CredentialsCertifications.
      • Find the GitHub Copilot exam appointment and look for Cancel or Reschedule. Selecting either should redirect to the exam delivery provider’s site to complete the change.
    2. If no cancel/reschedule option appears or it still fails, contact the exam provider directly:
      • For issues when taking an exam (such as “something went wrong” after room/ID checks), contact Pearson VUE Support: https://home.pearsonvue.com/microsoft/contact
      • Explain that the exam session failed after check-in and that no cancel/reschedule option is visible in the Learn profile.
    3. If the problem persists or there are account-level issues (for example, blocks or repeated errors), open a case with Microsoft Credentials Support so a moderator can review the certification profile and scheduling link: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/credentials/support/help

These channels are the supported way to get the failed session investigated and to enable a new appointment.
