Dont receive the code from authentificator

Global Administrator multifactor authentication reset is required, because I dont receive the code from authentificator. I cant use my office 365.

Alternatively, you can set up a Microsoft 365 Business Basic trial, which gives you the ability to submit a support ticket directly through the Microsoft Admin Center   

Step 1: Create a trial business account: Go to Microsoft 365 Business Plans and Pricing and click Try for free to set up a temporary Microsoft 365 tenant with a trial license.    

Step 2: Use this new account to sign in to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center and submit a support request on behalf of the affected tenant 

Step 3: Click Help & Support     

Note: This method doesn't require you to use your new account for your business. Instead, it allows you to create a temporary global administrator account so you can submit a support request. The trial account is free for one month. Since the Global Administrator account cannot receive the Microsoft Authenticator code, the MFA registration must be reset by another admin or, if there is no other admin, by Microsoft support.

Follow the path that matches the situation:

1. If there is another Global Administrator in the tenant
   1. Have that admin sign in to the Azure portal and open Microsoft Entra ID.
   2. Go to Users > All users and select the affected Global Administrator account.
   3. Open Authentication methods.
   4. Select Require re-register multifactor authentication.
   5. Save the change.
   6. Next time the affected Global Administrator signs in, they will be prompted to set up MFA again (e.g., re-add Microsoft Authenticator or another method) and can then access Office 365.
2. If there is no other Global Administrator (you are the only admin)
   1. This scenario requires Microsoft’s Data Protection / Tenant Recovery process.
   2. Call Microsoft Support using the appropriate Customer service phone numbers - Microsoft Support entry (as described in the referenced Q&A threads) and clearly state:
      • The issue is with Authenticator / MFA.
      • The product is Office 365 for business / Microsoft 365 Business.
      • It is a company/organization account.
      • The caller is the only Global Administrator and is locked out because of MFA.
      • A Data Protection / Tenant Recovery case is needed to reset MFA for the tenant admin.
   3. If support routing is automated, answer the IVR questions as indicated in the context (e.g., “Authenticator”, “Office 365 for business”, “company account”, “yes, administrator”, “no other admins”, “yes, create a service request”).
   4. Work with the Data Protection team to verify ownership and have them reset the MFA registration so that the Global Administrator can sign in and reconfigure Microsoft Authenticator or another MFA method.

Once MFA is reset and access is restored, configure at least one backup method (such as SMS, voice call, or another authenticator device) to avoid being locked out again.
