I am the only user - just one person - but I want to be able to use my Office 365 subscription on at least 5 devices - 2 mobile phones, 1 desktop computer, 1 netbook, 1 tablet. Can I do this on a personal plan? My family plan renewal is due July 2, 2026.

A Microsoft 365 Personal subscription is enough for this scenario.

Microsoft 365 Personal is for one user but allows installation on all devices and being signed in on up to five devices at the same time. This includes any combination of PCs, Macs, tablets, and phones, so using it on 2 phones, 1 desktop, 1 netbook, and 1 tablet is supported.

The Microsoft 365 Family plan adds the ability to share the subscription with up to five other people, but is not required if only one person needs to use the apps.

When the current Family plan comes up for renewal, it can be switched to Microsoft 365 Personal without losing the ability to use Office on five devices at once.
