Email Notifications

Question

Has there been any success in fixing the email notifications to subfolders issue? I have tried to find fixes to the issue online but have not been successful and it is driving me nuts.

Not sure I'd call it an "issue". That New Email Notifications don't fire on an email that is moved to a folder has always been this way.

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Based on my test environment, in addition to configuring the rule, I also enabled the notification option. However, I still did not receive any notifications when using Outlook on the web.

In this case, I recommend that you create a support ticket with Microsoft Support so they can further investigate the issue in more detail.
