Hi. I'm David, and I'm happy to help you.

To be able to assist you better, please clarify the following:

    • Does the sound box have a standard audio connector (Jack connector) or a USB connector, or is it connected via Bluetooth?
    • Is there an X in the speaker icon next to the clock?

Also, please share a screenshot of your system information.

    • Press "Windows + R", type msinfo32 and press Enter.

Maximize the window and use the shortcut "Windows + Shift + S" to use the screenshot tool.

    Looking forward to your reply.

Follow these steps on Windows 11 to fix the audio issue with both the Havit speaker and headphones:

    1. Confirm the correct output device
    • Select the Speakers icon on the taskbar.
    • Select the arrow to the right of the volume slider (tooltip: Select a sound output).
    • In the list, choose the device that matches the connected speakers/headphones (for example, Speakers (High Definition Audio Device)) and make sure it is selected.
    1. Check physical connections and volume
    • Make sure the speaker/headphone plug is fully inserted into the correct audio jack (usually green or labeled headphone).
    • If using USB, try a different USB port.
    • Ensure the speaker’s own power and volume controls are turned on and turned up.
    • On Windows, make sure volume is not muted and is turned up.
    1. Check sound settings and mute state
    • Right-click the Speakers icon on the taskbar and select Open Volume mixer.
    • In the Volume mixer, make sure none of the sliders (System or apps) show a red mute icon; if they do, click to unmute and raise the volume.
    • Go to Start > Settings > System > Sound.
    • Under Output, select the current audio device, then open Device properties and ensure the Disable checkbox is not selected.
    1. Set the correct default audio device (if using HDMI/USB/monitor)
    • Go to Start > Settings > System > Sound.
    • In the Output section, select the device intended for playback (not an external monitor without speakers). Selecting it sets it as the default.
    1. Install Windows updates
    • Go to Start > Settings > Windows Update > Check for updates.
    • Install all available updates, including optional ones, then restart the PC and test audio again.
    1. Update or reinstall the audio driver
    • Press Win + X and select Device Manager.
    • Expand Sound, video and game controllers.
    • Right-click the audio device (for example, High Definition Audio Device or similar) and select Update driver > Search automatically for drivers and complete the wizard.
    • If no update is found or sound still does not work:
      • In Device Manager, right-click the audio device again and select Uninstall device.
      • Check Attempt to remove the driver for this device (if shown), then select Uninstall.
      • Restart the PC; Windows will reinstall the audio driver automatically.

If audio still does not work after these steps, repeat Device Manager → audio device → Update driverBrowse my computer for driversLet me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer and select the generic audio driver listed, then test again.
